Machine and Attachments Selection (Guide Line)
1. When carrying out demolition of concrete building from the ground
1) For demolition of 4~10 storied buildings use a hydraulic excavator with a super long boom and arm as base machine.
2) For demolition of 2~4 storied buildings use a hydraulic excavator with a normal boom and arm as the base
machine.
3) For demolition of the foundations or areas below ground level, use a hydraulic excavator with the normal boom and arm as the base machine and operate from the ground level. If necessary, lower the machine below the ground to carry out the work.
*: Recommended for job sites where noise pollution is no problem, or level of working efficiency is not so crucial.
Attachment Features and Specifications Super Long Boom Arm
• Two kinds of boom-arms — 3 piece and 2 piece — available to achieve the best conditions for a wide working range.
• When transporting the machine, the boom, arm and bucket can be folded back speedily into a compact set. (excluded PC750 and PC800)

1. Do not exceed the forward limit working range(*) and also avoid working at over-side position to losing balance.
2. To prevent the booms and arm from getting deformed or cracked, never push, pull, or swing objects right and left with the booms and arm.
3. Demolishing must be done only with a crushing attachment.
4. (**): Including the additional counterweight, but excluding the crusher.
5. PC800 and PC750 require installation of the outtriggers.
6. As for PC800 and PC750, the boom can be shortened by detaching a part of boom so that the machine get wider working reach.

8. (✩) Max. working height and forward-limit working range (above A and B) can be changed by removing of a part of boom (PC800 and PC750).
Attachment Features and Specifications Hydraulic Crusher And Cutter
• The bolt on-type crusher point and cutter point can be interchanged with ease. The point for smashing materials into small pieces can be attached or detached instantly.
• Since a swing brake is built into the attachment, the free rotating force can be adjusted freely.
• Boasts the largest opening width in its class.
• The synchronous arm movement makes it possible to accurately catch the targeted portions of the structure being demolished.

• The synchronous movement of two arms makes it possible to accurately catch the targeted portions of the structure being demolished.

Attachment Features and Specifications Hydraulic Smasher
Designed to smash broken concrete masses into small pieces, the Komatsu Smasher serves as a highly effective tool in building demolition.
The smashing process helps in the recovery of reinforcing rods from demolished concrete structures, and in the transporting of crushed concrete off the site.

Attachment Features and Specifications Concrete Jumbo Crusher
• Free-rotation system type attachment with swing brake enables accurate positioning on the structure being demolished.
• Two crushing claws are actuated with two hydraulic cylinders, respectively. So the crusher can catch at the center of the target to be crushed, without giving any excessive force to the boom and arm. The cylinder rods are provided with cylinder covers.

Attachment Features and Specifications Hydraulic Hi-punch
• Most suitable for dismantling scrapped ships and scrap-handling steel plate structure.
• It cuts steel plate to square pieces (300 mm × 800 mm) suitable for recycling. This size of scrap can be put into an electric furnace without any further processing.
• Since no access to a danger zone nor gas-cutting work is required, the work is highly safe and prevents fires.
• Arm-top mounting maximizes reach and its rotating mechanism allows any desired postures to raise working efficiency significantly.
• Two types of rotating mechanism, free and hydraulic rotation, are available.
• Four edges can be used by reversing the blade, which cuts down operating cost (except blades at the tip of the upper and lower jaws).
• Maximum punch-able plate thickness is 16mm (at hydraulic pressure; 350kg/cm2).

Attachment Features and Specifications Power Fork II
• Extremely Easy to mounting/dismounting
It is possible to use without removing excavator's bucket links. Moreover, it is possible to mount/dismount the same way as bucket thanks to employment of pin with roller (new mechanism).
• Drastically increased grapple force
By employment of new mechanism, strong power transferred directly, and grapple force is drastically increased.
