Can Hydrogen Be Used As Fuel?

Hydrogen is the simplest element on earth. Each tiny particle of an element hydrogen is only a single proton. There is a chef plenty of gas in the world. Stars are composed mainly of hydrogen. In short, the sun is a giant ball of hydrogen and helium. In the center of the sun, the atoms of hydrogen to produce helium combine. This is known as light energy from fusion. The energy in turn, several life on Earth. It helps in the production of plants and provides people with light. It also facilitates rain and the blowing of the wind. Hydrogen is stored in chemical form of energy in fossil species. Most of the energy currently used by people from the radiant energy of the sun

A hydrogen car is a car that uses hydrogen as fuel for propulsion technology. The terminology can be a distinctive vehicle, refer exclusively to the transport. This includes all cars and other vehicles that use hydrogen in the same manner as aircraft. Plants of such vehicles to change to hydrogen chemical energy into mechanical energy. The methods in the change process, fuel cell and hydrogen burning internal combustion engines used. In the fuel cell burning hydrogen to produce oxygen with water and electricity combined. The current is in turn used to power electric traction motors. In the process of combustion of hydrogen, the hydrogen into the engine basically the same technique as for the convection-ignition cars set on fire.

Currently, 9 million tons of hydrogen produced in America. This is a reasonable amount to power 30 million cars and 8,000,000 homes. Louisiana, Texas and California: Most of the hydrogen is only in three countries, namely produced. The produced hydrogen is used by industry in the treatment of metals, food processing and finishing. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is the largest user of hydrogen as a fuel rather than energy. Currently there are 500 cars in America powered by hydrogen, particularly in California. Most cars are cars and buses powered by electric motors. They are able to change and also hydrogen and liquid hydrogen on board to save power, particularly vehicle fuel. However, only limited types of cars burn hydrogen directly produce very little pollution. Due to the cost of producing fuel cells, current fuel cell cars cost significantly higher than that of conventional cars in most countries. This is the hydrogen car to move through the laboratory.

Hydrogen has enormous potential as an ecological fuel and the means to reduce dependence on imported energy sources. A superior power and responsibility to a widespread substitute for gasoline, is a series of future systems and facilities to be built. Manufacturers have to make devices for hydrogen storage and transport. They will also demand cheap fuel. Users in turn requires the necessary know-how, education and information for safe use.
